Introduction to the Ultimate Proof of Biblical Creation
So here we are. Hopefully, you have a thorough understanding of the previous subjects we have discussed. If you don't, the ultimate proof will make no sense at all. If you haven't read the previous pages, I highly encourage you to start here (click here).
If it is the case that you read all of the previous pages, let's do another short recap. You know, just in case I haven't made myself clear enough:
If it is the case that you read all of the previous pages, let's do another short recap. You know, just in case I haven't made myself clear enough:
- The ultimate proof of creation will not change everyone's mind, there is no such argument. But the ultimate proof is logically irrefutable.
- Because we all interpret our evidence in light of our worldview, most debates over evidence will wind up becoming a frustrating quarrel where the opponents will simply "talk past each other." Therefore, the best way to debate is to debate about the opposing worldviews.
- Even though there is compelling evidence that is contrary to some worldviews, these contrary evidences can be explained away by using rescuing devices. But the use of the rescuing device is only logical if the rescuing device itself is logical and the worldview being defended is also logical.
- There are a plethora of worldviews, but the most common are theism, atheism, creation, evolution, empiricism, naturalism, uniformitarianism, and relativism. These worldviews are explained and refuted (except for biblical creation) on the previous pages.
- In order for evidence to be correctly interpreted, one must have a correct worldview by which they interpret the evidence. Therefore, the key to resolving the origins debate is to figure out which worldview can make sense of the preconditions of intelligibility, morality, logic, etc.
- There are no neutral grounds.
- Atheism fails to provide rational reasons behind the preconditions of intelligibility (and so do the other worldviews), which brings us to an odd conclusion: if atheism were true, we could not know anything.
- The Bible is the only standard that provides a reason behind the preconditions of intelligibility: God gave them to us so we can basically and reliably observe the universe around us.
- Since biblical creation is the only worldview that can provide a rational reason behind the preconditions of intelligibility, morality, dignity, freedom, laws of logic, etc., any other worldview would lead to the conclusion that it would be impossible to know anything since they do not provide these things.
