The Ultimate Proof of Biblical Creation
It's quite a bold title, I know. Many of you are probably wondering if there can be such a thing as an ultimate proof for the biblical account of creation. Well, there is.
Before we can begin discussing the ultimate proof, we need to lay down some ground work. If you think that by "ultimate proof" I mean an argument that will change everyone's mind, then you're wrong. There is no such thing.
By "ultimate proof" I mean a proof that is irrefutable. It is totally rational, and cannot be refuted. As we will soon learn, every other worldview defeats themselves.
Our worldview is how we see nature. Some people look at the earth and the universe and say, "Wow, look at what the Big Bang did." Some say, "Wow, look at God's beautiful creation." Some people look at life and say, "Wow, just look at what evolution did." Others say, "Look at God's power displayed here." When we look at evidence, our worldview will immediately determine how we understand that evidence. This conclusion is called our presupposition.
There are many, many different worldviews, but not all of them can be right. Among these are the most popular, and the most "logical-sounding" worldviews; creation, evolution, empiricism, naturalism, atheism, polytheism, and pantheism. Some of these worldviews even mix together. For example, an evolutionist might also be an empiricist.
But, as will be explained, all of these worldviews, except for biblical creation, are illogical. They are inconsistent, unreliable, and fail to provide a basis for knowledge.
We will be getting deeper into these different worldviews as we go on, but first we must discuss several topics in order to understand the ultimate proof.
Please, take your time. This subject can take several days to fully grasp, so if you rush through you may not understand the ultimate proof and its uses.
